Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and theater. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater as well as choreographing over a dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly also began landing TV and film roles as she continued her improv classes at The Groundlings. Her voice is distinctive and her diminutive size lets her play a variety of characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts' evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes, where she played both the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the time of the day. She was also a Regular as the sassy, sexpert Little Sister to Alyssa Milano in the ABC show Romantically Challenged as well as the suburban mom who was stressed on the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She has lent her singing voice to several animated cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent role was as the dim and adorable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life, with her husband and two young kids. She enjoys sewing and volunteering at school activities.
